SOMERS, CT — The Somers Recycling Center will no longer be open on Mondays beginning Aug. 17, town public works officials announced.
The final Monday the center will be open is Aug. 10.
After the change, the center will operate from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursdays and Saturdays, and from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays.
The Recycling Center is located at 93 Egypt Road. Residents can find permit requirements, accepted materials and other information on the town's Recycling Center page.
