ELLINGTON, CT — Twenty businesses registered across Ellington and Somers in August, according to the Connecticut Business Registry, with Ellington accounting for 16 of them and Somers four. Educational-support services and real estate-related ventures were the most common categories, with two filings each.
Circa 1785 Candle Company LLC, on Pinney Street in Ellington, was among the more distinctive additions, along with Revival RV LLC, a general automotive repair business on Parker Road in Somers, and Ivy & Co Interior Design LLC in Ellington. Every one of the 20 businesses organized as a limited liability company.
