Applications Open for Ellington’s 2026 Earth Day Celebration

The Town of Ellington has announced that applications are now open for its Annual Earth Day Celebration, a popular community event that highlights environmental stewardship, local organizations, and family-friendly activities.

The 2026 Earth Day Celebration will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and will be held rain or shine.

Ellington’s Earth Day Celebration has grown into a well-attended town tradition. Over the past three years, the event has drawn more than 1,000 attendees annually and hosted over 70 vendors each year. The event features environmental groups, local businesses, nonprofits, artisans, and food vendors, all coming together to celebrate sustainability and community.

Sponsorship Opportunities

Local businesses, organizations, and individuals are also invited to support the event through sponsorship. Three sponsorship levels are available, with online payment options:

• Seed Level Sponsor ($25): Name included on sponsor banner
• Shrub Level Sponsor ($50): Name on sponsor banner and an Earth Day T-shirt
• Tree Level Sponsor ($100): Name on sponsor banner, event announcement, Earth Day T-shirt, and preferred booth placement
