Arts from the Heart, llc Fall Open House!

Jane Roets, Owner/Director of Arts from the Heart, ll opened in the 12 Main Street location September of 2012. Music Together classes that had been happening in Somers, Tolland, Ellington, Manchester, etc... all centralized into one cute little space! Two years later we are expanding out, offering classes again in Somers, Tolland and Vernon, but 12 Main Street continues to be our “gathering space.”

In addition to Music Together classes, which have been running in the Tolland County area now for 13 years, bringing bringing the joy of family music to over 4,000 families, Arts from the Heart, llc is also the home of Little Yoga, llc offering classes in Prenatal Yoga, Mommy and Baby Yoga, Children’s Yoga, and Yoga after Baby.

Our newest addition to class offerings came to be following our first successful summer theatre production of “Honk! Jr.” in July of 2014. “The Play’s the Thing” is our new youth theatre track in collaboration with Ellington Youth Services, starting this fall with a Theatre Improv class for 9-12 year olds and an Imagination Play Shop for 5-8 year olds.

While there is more to tell you, it would be better if you just stopped in at the Open House and learned first hand about the sweet, silly community we are growing through music, yoga and theatre.

Throughout the day we will be doing demonstrations, drawing raffle prizes and generally having a good time! There will be a craft station for kids, instrument play and dancing. Increase your chances of winning a free semester of class, or a birthday party by bringing your friends ~ each friend you bring gives you one more chance in the drawing, so spread the word and stop by for 5 minutes or 5 hours!
