Attempted Break-In Being Investigated In Somers

SOMERS, CT — State police said they are investigating what appears to be an attempted break in at a Somers home.

An alarm went off at the home on High Meadows Crossing at 8:41 p.m. on March 22, according to a report. A door had been kicked in, but it appeared the would-be burglar did not get full access to the home, according to a report.

A police dog searched the the area and did not locate anyone and the case remains under investigation, according to a report.
