BMW Takes Out Pole, Guardrail In Ellington
A car smashed into a pole and guardrail in Ellington, state police said.

ELLINGTON, CT — The driver of a car that took out part of a guardrail on Cider Mill Road apparently fell asleep before crashing, a state police accident report indicates.
The crash took place at 11:35 a.m., as a 22-year-old man from Dudley, MA, was traveling east in a 2004 BMW 325XI, according to a report released this week.
The car veered off the right side of the road, hit a tree, then a utility pole and a guardrail and landed at the bottom of an embankment, according to a report.
