Did you know that Connecticut is among the top 3 states with the highest costs for nursing home and long-term care? That’s why it is so important to do your due diligence and protect everything that you have worked SO hard for – and if possible – to do so while remaining in the comfort of your home!
In this program, we will help you better understand how to avoid putting your hard-earned assets at risk in a way that can best position you to stay in your own home and age in place. Specifically, you’ll learn about Medicaid and other public benefit programs the state has to offer, as well as strategies that married or single people can use to protect their assets.
This program will be presented by a representative from the estate planning and elder law firm Daly Perri Arnold & Knierim (formerly Czepiga Daly Pope & Perri).

Join us for a market focused on sustainability, featuring guest organizations sharing information on local sustainable heating and cooling options, recycling, and upcycled goods.
Shopping local is one of the most sustainable choices you can make — many of our farmers use regenerative agriculture practices that build healthier soil, support biodiversity, and reduce the environmental footprint of getting food from farm to table. And of course, you'll find plenty of delicious green produce too!
Enjoy the live music of fingerstyle guitarist Glenn Roth, whose intricate compositions and genre-bending music blend rock, blues, classical, jazz, and even bluegrass into a sound all his own.
As always, we're doubling SNAP and FMNP benefits this week, so stop by the market pavilion to make your dollars go further.
