On Campus - Ellington, Somers College Students

ELLINGTON-SOMERS, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

Assumption College, Worcester MA

• Tesia Burzynski, of Somers, is taking advantage of the many international study abroad programs offered through Assumption College and spending the spring semester abroad. Burzynski, Class of 2020, is studying in Czech Republic. Studying abroad not only gives Assumption students the chance to obtain class credit, but it offers a unique opportunity for them to interact with different cultures and to approach what they have learned in the classroom from new perspectives, thus giving them an enhanced view of the world around them.

Champlain College, Burlington VT

• A pair of local students have been named to the Champlain College Dean's List for achieving a grade point average of 3.5 or higher in the fall 2018 semester. They are Rachel Greenberg of Ellington, majoring in Psychology, and Raquel Robbins of Somers, majoring in Filmmaking.
