Bryant University, Smithfield RI

• Bryant University is pleased to recognize the local students who have been named to the fall 2018 Dean's List. They are Brett Ansaldi of Somers, Daniel Barrett of Ellington, Gina Catellier of Somers, Michael Grassetti of Somers, Benjamin Heyman of Ellington, Anita Huang of Somers, McKenzie Kozma of Ellington and Nathan Parks of Somers.

Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester NY

• Janine Bushey of Somers was named to the Dean's List at Rochester Institute of Technology for the 2018 fall semester. Bushey is in the graphic design program. Degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean's List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of "Incomplete", "D" or "F"; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.

Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester MA

• Undergraduate project teams from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) were recently honored as finalists of the President's Interactive Qualifying Project (IQP) Awards. Thomas Mackintosh of Ellington was a member of one team that completed their project in WPI's Switzerland project center. The project was titled "Weighing Perceived Values of Tinguely's Sculptures Against Technically Advanced Conservation."
