Car Crashes into Ellington Cornfield
A 79-year-old driver from Ellington crashed his car into a cornfield on Sunday, state police said.

ELLINGTON, CT — A 79-year-old driver from Ellington crashed his car into a cornfield on Sunday, state police said.
The crash took place at 1:04 p.m.
The driver was headed west on Middle Butcher Road in a 2o17 Honda Civic when he lost consciousness due to a "medical emergency," according to a report.

The car hit a stone wall, traveled through a cornfield and slammed into a chain link fence near the Moser Drive intersection, state police said.
The man was taken to Rockville General Hospital, according to a report.
