The driver of a car found in the middle of a road in Somers is facing a drunken driving charge.

SOMERS, CT — The driver of a car found in the middle of a road in Somers is facing a drunken driving charge, state police said.

On Sunday at 3:10 a.m., state police were alerted to a vehicle stopped and idling in the middle of Root Road in Somers, a report indicates.

A man, identified as 24-year-old Nathan Czelazewicz, of Somers, was located in the vehicle, according to a report.

He failed a series of field sobriety tests and was arrested for driving under the influence and improper parking.

He is due in court on Dec. 19, records show.
