Car Takes Out DOT Sign At Ellington Rotary

A car took out a state road sign in a crash at the Five-Corners rotary, state police said.

ELLINGTON, CT — A car took out a state road sign in a crash at the Five-Corners rotary, state police said.

State police released the details of the April 24 crash on Monday. It took place at 7:30 p.m., state police said.

A 2005 Dodge Durango driven by a 73-year-old East Windsor resident was traveling west on Windsorville Road and entered the rotary, according to a report. It then hot a state Department of Transportation-owned sign at the Pinney Street turn-off, according to a report.
