Champion, Placewinner Lead Somers at Class S Wrestling Meet
Somers had an individual winner and another grappler placed in the top six at the Class S wrestling championships at Windham High School.
WINDHAM, CT — A wrestler from Somers High School prevailed as class champion and another placed at the Class S championships, which concluded Saturday at Windham High School.
Jeffrey Suschana emerged as champion of the 160 lb. division, posting a 5-1 decision over Joshua Schwartz of Northwestern Regional in the finals. Michael Dalessio wound up fourth at 113 lbs.
