The best businesses care about the communities they serve, and that's one of the things that makes Claudette's Consignments the Somers Business of the Month for July. Claudette's is located at 20 Vasalie Road, just past the tractor trailer school. They were nominated for their work in organizing clothing donations for the victims of the fire, and for the innovative offerings in the store. The award was presented to Holly Cobb, Cindy Cobb, and Ebony Godwin of Claudette's by First Selectman Tim Keeney.
Patrons from any community can nominate a Somers business for the award based on such criteria as superior customer service, innovative products or services, professional staff development, donating money to a town project, sponsoring a youth project, or longevity in business.
