Manchester Community College, Manchester CT

• Somers residents Corey Arcari, Jillian Berger, William Fraher, Brendan Hailer and Daniel Rockett were named to the spring 2019 President's List.
• Serena Carl, Jolanta Cimochowska, Madison Dexter, Katrina Frazer, Maxwell Gale, Katharine Murphy, Christian Nelson, Rachael Noble, Amanda Purnhagen, Anthony Rizzuto, Presley Taylor and Alyssa Wilkos, all of Ellington, and Ian Bennett, James Chaisson, Lance Luzey, Michelle Mendoza-Cruz, Alyssa Patsun, Stephanie Ricard and Bailey Skidgel, all of Somers, made the spring 2019 dean's list.

Tunxis Community College, Farmington CT

• The 48th Commencement of Tunxis Community College was held on May 30 at Central Connecticut State University. A total of 525 graduates were conferred associate degrees and certificates from 59 Connecticut towns as well as Massachusetts. Those who were conferred degrees in December 2018 were also recognized at the ceremony. Hannah Naumec of Ellington received an A.S. in Dental Hygiene.
