Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

• Eastern Connecticut State University held its inaugural Iota Iota Iota (Triota) induction on April 12, launching the Epsilon Gamma Chapter by recognizing student and alumni members. Triota is a national service-based Women's and Gender Studies honor society that promotes academic excellence and facilitates activism. Among the inductees was Paige Graveline 'of Ellington, who majors in Communication.

Western New England University, Springfield MA

• Western New England University recognized 12 graduating students for academic excellence within their fields of study during the College of Business Senior Awards Ceremony, held April 18 in the University Commons. Kristen Breen of Ellington received the Outstanding Full-time Student in Sport Management Award. This award is presented to a graduating senior selected by the faculty for excellence in the study of Sport Management. Breen is graduating with a BSBA in Sport Management.
