Commercial Burglaries Under Investigation In Somers

SOMERS, CT — Police are investigating a pair of commercial burglaries which took place less than a quarter-mile apart over the past two holiday weekends.

Sometime between Sunday, Dec. 26 and the following morning, commercial-sized tires were stolen from the Cutler Transportation workshop at 231 Field Road. During the overnight hours of New Year's Eve into New Year's Day, tree service power equipment was taken from Mountain Tree Service at 21 Egypt Road, according to police.
