The one-hour event in the Blake Room is open to the public and will include discussion of state policy and community concerns.
SOMERS, CT — Residents will have a chance to speak directly with their state lawmakers later this month during a public town hall scheduled at the Somers Public Library.
State Sen. John Kissel and State Rep. Kurt Vail are inviting residents to attend a community legislative update on Tuesday, March 31 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. The event will take place in the Blake Room at the Somers Public Library, located at 2 Vision Blvd.
According to the announcement, the discussion will focus heavily on the rising cost of living in Connecticut and other issues affecting residents in the district. Organizers say the session is intended to provide updates on the legislative session while also giving residents an opportunity to raise questions or concerns directly with their elected officials.
