ELLIINGTON, CT — A weekend crash sent both state police and a utility crew to Buff Cap Road as a car took out a pole, state police said.
The crash took place on Friday at 12:27 p.m. A 2000 Lincoln Town Car driven by 61-year-old Jeffrey Kolesinski was traveling north on Buff Cap when he swerved to avoid a deer, left the road and hit a utility pole, state police said.
The pole and wires wound up falling onto the road, state police said.
