Dead Man Found In Vehicle In Somers Identified By State Police

SOMERS, CT — A man found dead inside a vehicle off Durkee Road in Somers Thursday morning has been identified by state police as 38-year-old Jason Comes. No hometown was provided for him.

An investigation continues into the death of Comes, with police calling the death "suspicious." The body was found around 10:30 a.m. in a rural area about 500 feet off the road, and the Connecticut State Police Eastern District Major Crime squad was called to investigate, Sgt. Dawn Pagan said.

Police continue to say the incident is isolated and there is no immediate threat to the public.
