Dymotek Hosting Open House on Manufacturing Day

Dymotek understands the importance of manufacturing and the role it plays in the Connecticut economy. That is why they are so excited to take part in their fourth annual Manufacturing Day event. This event was designed with hopes to improve the general perception of manufacturing careers in both younger generations and their parents.

Originally founded in 1990 by two Ellington natives, Dymotek is a state-of-the-art injection and silicone molding company with a proven track record for designing, molding and bringing to market innovative, proprietary products. Dymotek found a niche and has been able to thrive for through the recent years. Since 2013, Dymotek has doubled in both facility space and personnel. The company was also recently named to INC Magazine top 5000 fastest growing privately owned companies in America and a 2015 Top Workplace by the Hartford Courant and Fox CT. One of very few manufacturers to make both lists.

For Dymotek it is important to remain ‘ever dynamic’ - never stop evolving and improving. The company currently occupies over 80,000 square feet across two facilities and employs over 100 people. It continues to grow its business partnerships, enhance its technology and facility, and invest in the development of its dedicated and trained team.

Please come participate in the Manufacturing Day open house to be held at their Ellington facility on Friday, Oct. 2 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Visitors will tour the facility, learn about the manufacturing processes, see current job opportunities at Dymotek and get an eye-opening look at the range of impact one manufacturing plant in Connecticut can make.

As a sweet treat after the tour, The Cupcake Brake will be at Dymotek from 2-6 p.m. Students are especially encouraged to attend, in particular high school and college level.
