Elderly Ellington Couple Reported Missing

The couple is believed to be together, driving a white Ford Escape, according to police.

ELLINGTON, CT — An elderly couple from Ellington has been reported missing, and state police issued Silver Alerts for them late Tuesday night, including full descriptions, photos and information about the vehicle they may be driving.

Barbara and Irwin Lynds have not been seen since Monday. She is described as standing 5-foot-7, weighing 149 lbs., with brown hair and green eyes. He stands 6-feet-2, weighs 220 lbs., and has white hair and brown eyes, police said.

The couple is believed to be with each other, operating a 2011 white Ford Escape with Connecticut license plate AM-72902, police said.
