Ellington 2016 Memorial Day Parades Slated For Monday
The Ellington Center and Crystal Lake parades are both scheduled for Memorial Day itself.
ELLINGTON, CT - Here are the details of both local Memorial Day parades, slated for Monday, May 30:
Crystal Lake
At about 9 a.m., the parade will begin in the Crystal Lake section of town, where Green Street intersects with state Route 140. It will conclude at Crystal Lake Cemetery, where a brief service will take place.

Ellington Center
Services are scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. at Ellington High School. At the conclusion of the program (approximately 11:30 a.m.), the parade will step off from Ellington High School, proceed to Ellington Green and then to Ellington Cemetery with brief memorial tributes taking place at each location.
