Ellington, Somers Arrests Include Fugitive From Justice, Driving Under the Influence

May 4
A vehicle was driving north on Route 83 in Somers and was about to turn into a driveway when another vehicle drove into the back of the first vehicle, causing damage to both vehicles. Krzysztofor Lipinski, 50, of 212 Thistle Ln. in Southington, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.

May 5
Troy Nelson, 33, of 454 Edgewood Ave., Apt. 3R in New Haven, under the authority of a Habeas issued by Rockville Superior Court was transported from Osborn Correctional Institution to Rockville Superior Court so that an active arrest warrant could be served. Nelson was placed under arrest on an active arrest warrant for the charges of conspiracy to convey unauthorized item into institution and conspiracy to possess narcotics. He was processed and held on a $75,000 bond set by the court.

Ralph Louis Mathena, 42, of 63 Seaman Cir. in Manchester, was placed under arrest on an active arrest warrant issued by Rockville Superior Court for the charge of fugitive from justice. He was processed and held on a $100,000 bond st by the court.
May 14
A traffic stop was initiated on a vehicle operated by Lily Faber, 21, of 21 Russell Dr. in East Hartford, after she failed to obey a stop light on Route 83 in Ellington. A resulting investigation led to Faber’s arrest for operating under the influence of drugs/alcohol, failure to obey control signal, and traveling unreasonably fast. She was released on a $500 non-surety bond.
