Ellington Armed Robbery Suspects Sought By State Police
Three men are being sought in connection with an armed robbery at an Ellington gas station and convenience store Saturday night, police say.

ELLINGTON, CT — State police are seeking three suspects involved in an armed robbery of an Ellington gas station and convenience store Saturday night.
Around 8:35 p.m., two black or Hispanic men entered the Valero station at the junction of Main Street and Route 83, and one demanded money at gunpoint from the clerk. The two men, joined by a third accomplice who had remained outside, fled with an undisclosed amount of cash in a gray or silver 4-door vehicle with black rims, possibly an Infiniti, state police said.
The suspect with the gun is described as standing about 5-foot-8, weighing about 200 lbs., wearing a tan jacket with a hood, blue jeans, a black neck gator and a gray knit cap, with a white hood over possibly eyeglasses. The second suspect is described as being 5-foot-10, 180 lbs., wearing tan work boots, blue jeans, a tan jacket and a green hooded sweatshirt. Police had no description of the accomplice outside the store.
