Ellington Budget Plan Presented to Finance Board
Under the proposal, Ellington's spending could increase by a half million dollars.

ELLINGTON, CT - Town spending would increase more than three and a half percent under an endorsed budget plan presented to the Board of Finance Tuesday, the Journal Inquirer reported.
The board received a government budget of just more than $16 million from First Selectman Lori Spielman, which clals for a numerical spending increase of about $560,000.
Spielman stated the board of selectmen plans to implement further cuts prior to the Finance Board's public hearing, which is scheduled for April 11, according to the JI.
