Ellington’s 2026 Foodshare Schedule Is Here
Residents can get fresh produce and more at the Maple Street site.
ELLINGTON, CT — Connecticut Foodshare’s mobile pantry will again make regular stops in town this year, offering free groceries to anyone in need.
The local Foodshare site is hosted at Ellington LDS Church, 2 Maple St., and is open every other Thursday from 9 to 9:30 a.m. Organizers say food choices vary week to week but typically include several types of fresh produce. The site is open to anyone who needs food assistance.

According to the 2026 schedule, upcoming distribution dates are Jan. 8 and 22; Feb. 5 and 19; March 5 and 19; April 2, 16 and 30; May 14 and 28; June 11 and 25; July 9 and 23; Aug. 6 and 20; Sept. 3 and 17; Oct. 1, 15 and 29; Nov. 12 and 26; and Dec. 10 and 24.
Visitors are reminded to bring a bag to carry their items. More information is available at ctfoodshare.org.
