As the outdoor season comes to a close, the Ellington Farmers Market is set to finish with two memorable Saturdays filled with music, local vendors, and exciting activities.
On Saturday, October 19th, enjoy the sounds of the Grass Routes Bluegrass Band. This five-piece group will perform a mix of traditional bluegrass standards, folk tunes, and contemporary songs. The forecast looks great, so bring a chair and relax on a beautiful fall morning as you enjoy the live music.
The final outdoor market on Saturday, October 26th, features the Free Range Humans Band, back by popular demand. This quartet from Central Connecticut blends bluegrass, country, rock roots, and jam fusion into their original and cover songs.
In addition to music, the Halloween Pet Parade begins at 11:00 a.m. on October 26th. Bring your pets dressed in their Halloween best and compete for prizes! Customers will vote on their favorite costumes, and the top three will be awarded prizes.
