Ellington Farmers' Market To Have New Location In 2024
72 Maple St. will be the new home to the award-winning Ellington Farmers' Market. Weekly themes, live music, matching programs, and more!

The Ellington Farmers' Market is moving to a new location at 72 Maple St. for the 2024 season. The lively opening day event, Barnyard Babies happens on May 4th.
With Arbor Park undergoing renovations this spring and summer, the market had to find a new home. After careful thought, and with the help of Ellington Public Works, the town lot on Maple St was chosen as the permanent location. The larger space offers more parking options and will alleviate traffic congestion on Main St.
The same great vibes market customers have enjoyed in Arbor Park will continue. Weekly themes, live music, 40 full-time vendors, and exciting guest vendors all season long along with a food truck serving hot breakfast and lunch options every week are on the agenda.

Ellington Farmers’ Market is a 501c3 nonprofit, relying solely on grants and donations to bring this special event each week. The town of Ellington graciously allows the market to be held on town property but does not support the market financially.
The Market’s mission is to help build a healthy community and is dedicated to fighting food insecurity. Last year, the Farmers Feeding Families program distributed over $30,000 in food vouchers to at-risk seniors and families, increasing access to fresh, healthy, locally grown food. Donations are sought through the Market Partner Program and Sustainable CT to support this important program.
