Ellington Farmers Market Seeks Local Partners to Strengthen Community and Food Access

Market Partners for the 2026 season will help sustain local farmers, support families and seniors, and keep the market welcoming for all.

The Ellington Farmers Market has long been more than a place to shop for fresh, local food. Each week, it serves as a gathering place where farmers, families, and small businesses come together around shared values, community connections, and a mutual sense of care for one another.

As the market looks ahead to the 2026 season, organizers are inviting businesses, organizations and individuals to become Market Partners. This program is designed to help keep the market welcoming, accessible, and resilient, while also strengthening its impact across the community.

Support from Market Partners directly benefits the Farmers Feeding Families program, which helps low income seniors and families stretch their food dollars at the market each week. Over $50,000 was distributed through this program in 2025.
