This Town Job Pays More Than $40 An Hour

ELLINGTON, CT — The Town of Ellington is hiring a full-time Staff Accountant to support municipal budgeting, financial reporting and audits.

The professional position pays between $38.46 and $40.73 per hour and was approved by the Board of Selectmen on Jan. 29.

Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field. One to three years of accounting experience is preferred, with governmental accounting experience also preferred.
