Ellington Historical Society Opens New Holiday Marketplace
Holiday Marketplace gives local shopping options while supporting a non-profit and local artisans
A new Holiday Marketplace at the Ellington Historical Society, 70 Main St., will be open for shopping Saturdays 10-2 through Christmas. The Holiday Marketplace is filled to the brim with holiday decor, artisan finds, specialty collections and seasonal bargains. The 1812 Federalist style house museum, Nellie's Mercantile and the Vintage Wares Barn will also be open.
The classic old fashion mercantile features farmhouse collections, town themed Ellington décor, local artisan wares and an inviting wonderland of Christmas shop.
In the Vintage Wares Barn you will find a great assortment of pristine vintage items ready to
enhance your home at flea market pricing.

The historic 1812 Federalist style home features renovated exhibits including eras of styles,"Nellie" exhibits, wedding dress collection, vintage nursery, antique, china collection, sewing and textile exhibit, kitchen nostalgia, vintage women's' clothing boutique and much more.
