Ellington Human Services Back to School Program

As summer winds down, the excitement of a new school year begins to build for students and families alike. However, for many in our community, the financial burden of purchasing school supplies can be overwhelming. The Human Services Back to School program is here to help, ensuring every child has the resources they need to succeed.
This year, we are focusing on collecting gift card donations. These cards empower families to shop for the specific supplies their children need, fostering a sense of independence and dignity. Suggested gift cards include popular retailers like Walmart, Target, Staples, and Amazon, where a wide variety of school essentials can be found.
Donations can be made in two convenient ways:

1. Delivery: Gift cards can be mailed directly to our office at 31 Arbor Way.
2. Drop-off: Feel free to bring your donations in person to the same address.

Your generous contributions directly impact the lives of children in our community, giving them the tools they need for a successful academic year. Support the youth in our community and ensure every student has the opportunity to thrive.
