Ellington Man Accused of Trying to Pass Bad Checks in Glastonbury

He is facing three charges, police said.

GLASTONBURY, CT — An Ellington man is facing three serious charges after trying to cash bad checks at a Glastonbury bank, police said.

Michael Boyko tried to cash what Glastobury police said were "counterfeit" checks at a local People's Bank branch in December according to an arrest report.

Boyko, 39, lives at 15 Village St., Ellington, police said.

He was charged with third-degree larceny, third-degree forgery and first-degree criminal trespass, police said.
