Ellington Man Arrested Twice In Two Days For Domestic Incidents

He is back in court in June.

ELLINGTON, CT - A local man was arrested twice in two days for two domestic incidents on his road, state police said.

On May 25, Michael Canavan, 50, of 9 Jacobs Hill Road, Ellington, was charged with first-degree stalking, violating a protective order and threatening after a domestic dispute at 6:37 a.m., state police said.

The next day, at 7:40 a.m., Canavan was charged with disorderly conduct, interfering with an emergency call and second-degree threatening., state police said. He was involved in a domestic dispute on his road, state police said.

He is due for his second court appearance on June 30, court records indicate.
