Ellington Man Charged for Auto Repair Work That Wasn't Done: South Windsor Police

Police arrested the man on a warrant for the April incident.

South Windsor police have arrested an Ellington man for allegedly charging for auto repair work that was never done.

Jesse Pincince, 30, of 80 Crane Road in Ellington, was arrested July 13 on a warrant and charged with sixth-degree larceny. He was later released on a $500 cash bond.

South Windsor police said the charge stems from an April 2015 complaint by a resident who hired Pincince to do auto repairs and supplied cash and vehicle parts, only to later find the work wasn’t done.
