Police say the man engaged in sadomasochistic sexual activities with a 15-year-old girl.

An Ellington man charged in September with three counts of second-degree sexual assault pleaded not guilty Friday in New London Superior Court, according to the New London Day.

Adam Friedman, 27, is accused of meeting a 15-year-old girl in Waterford on three different occasions, and engaging in sadomasochistic sexual activities with her, the paper said.

Friedman, manager of a Vernon-based propane business, met the girl online in Jan. 2015, and communicated with her via the Internet until actually meeting in person shortly thereafter, the Day reported.
