Ellington Man Sees Blue Lights After Crash at Tolland Strip Joint

TOLLAND, CT — An Ellington man is facing motor vehicle and drug charges after he fled the scene of a crash at a Tolland strip joint, state police said.

Donald Evans, 25, was charged with Evading Responsibility, driving under the influence, possessing drug paraphernalia and possessing a controlled substance after the crash, which took place at 9:42 p.m. on Friday, state police said.

Someone called 911 to report the accident at the Electric Blue Cafe, 62 Merrow Road, Tolland, state police said.

Evans was then tracked down and charged, state police said.
