
Andre "Andy" Francis Courville, 73, of Ellington and formerly of East Hartford, a loving husband and father passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2017.
Andy was born to the late Claire (Fournier) and Andre L. Courville on Nov 15, 1943 in Hartford. He attended Hardwick Academy in Hardwick, VT after which he served honorably from Nov 1961 to Nov 1964 in the US Navy. He worked for over 50 years as an aerospace welder at companies such as Pratt & Whitney and was currently working at Paradigm Precision.
He was active in the Jaycees, Elks, KofC & East Hartford Little League. Although his passion was his family, Andy enjoyed golf with his friends Ted and Tom and his son Brian, travel and racketball with his best friend Eddie. He was an avid Red Sox and UConn basketball fan.

Besides his wife Barbara, he leaves his daughter Kelly Courville Phenix of Bristol; son Brian and daughter in law Amber Courville of Clarksburg, MD; his three sisters Lorette (husband Dennis) Williams of Milton, VT, Linda (husband Michael) Guymon of Danville, IL, and Monique (husband Brian) Johnson of Wilmington, VT; along with several nieces and nephews and many friends.
Thank you to Dr. Hong and his staff at the Helen and Harry Gray Cancer Center, Vitas Healthcare and St Mary's Hospital for their excellent care of Andy.

Relatives and friends may call at Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home on Buckland St, South Windsor on Wednesday, June 28th from 4-7 pm. Services will be held at the Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home on Thursday, June 29th at 10 am. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 17 Wickham St. Glastonbury.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Helen and Harry Gray Cancer Center Fund.
