
Deborah (Schindler) Patterson, 59, of West Suffield, loving wife of Richard D. Patterson, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2015.
Debi was born Sept. 29, 1955 at Manchester Hospital, the daughter of Alfred and Shirley (Schutz) Schindler and attended schools in Ellington graduating from Ellington High in 1973. Completing secretarial courses at Briarwood College in 1974, she went on to work for various insurance companies, sandwiching in time spent working with her husband Dick at family-owned Atlantic Blueprint. Her last employment was with Sun Life Assurance in Windsor as a Sr. Benefit Analyst. Debi’s life was centered around her faith, holding various church positions and attending Bible Studies as often as possible. She was a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Suffield and more recently Our Savior Lutheran Church in South Windsor. Debi also loved traveling, from Maine to Florida, with her good friend Joyce and also got to see a bit of Europe with her parents. Debi enjoyed helping her Dad get firewood on weekends, loved animals, and had many pets.
In addition to her husband Dick, to whom she was married for 30 yrs, she leaves her parents Alfred and Shirley Schindler, her sister Judith Harrington and her husband Michael.

The family would like to offer their sincere thanks to the nursing staff of Masonic Care, Enfield Day Care and Home Helpers of Enfield who provided excellent service the past four months.
A funeral service will be held at 10 AM Monday, September 21 at the Nicholson & Carmon Funeral Home, 443 East St. North, Suffield followed by burial in Grove Hill Cemetery, Rockville. Her family will receive friends on Sunday, September 20 from 2 PM to 5 PM at the funeral home.
