Ellington Obituary: Erva Luginbuhl, 66

Erva Jean Luginbuhl, 66, lifelong resident of Ellington, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 27, 2017.

Erva was born on April 28, 1951 to the late Ervin and Viola (Gudeman) Luginbuhl. Erva worked at Kloter Farms in sales. She was a fan of both the Boston Red Sox as well as the Boston Celtics. Erva loved her family and her many friends.

She is survived by her son Quenton Wheeler and his wife Heather, of Tolland, and his father, Scott, of SC; and her brothers Chet Luginbuhl and his wife Pam, of Ellington, Tom Luginbuhl and his wife Heidi, of CA; her sister Mary Kloter and her husband Keith, of Ellington; grandchildren Austin and Breanna Wheeler, Gabriella Boltsridge; and many other loving family and friends. She was predeceased by both her parents, and her son Cortney Wheeler.

Calling hours are being held on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 from 6 - 8 pm at Ladd-Turkington & Carmon Funeral Home, 551 Talcottville Road, (Route 83) Vernon, CT 06066. Funeral services and burial are private at the request of her family.
