
Helen (Hoffman) Kloter, 93, of Ellington, loving wife of the late Emmanuel Kloter, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, September 9, 2016.
Born in Ellington, the daughter of the late Fred and Huldah (Bertschi) Hoffman, she lived in the Tri Town area all of her life and after Emmanuel's retirement in 1975, they spent the winters in Sarasota, FL. She was a longtime member of the Apostolic Christian Church in Ellington.
She is survived by her beloved children, Eric and Sharon Kloter of Tolland, Keith and Mary Kloter of Ellington, Kay and Kenneth Luginbuhl of Ellington, and Carole and Daniel Bahler of Ellington; 11 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Florence Kloter of Ellington; several nieces and nephews, and her special caregiver, Abena.

Helen's family would like to thank all of faithful caregivers that cared for her.
Her family will receive friends for calling hours on Sunday, September 11, 2016 from 3:30 - 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at the Apostolic Christian Church, 34 Middle Butcher Road, Ellington. Funeral services will be held at the Apostolic Christian Church on Monday, September 12, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Ellington Center Cemetery.
