
Lois M. (Schneider) Schulz, 87, passed away Friday, February 26, 2016 at Rockville General Hospital.
She was born in Rockville May 29, 1928 to the late William and Martha (Zaugg) Schneider. She was a dedicated member of the Apostolic Christian Church, turning to the Lord at the young age of 16. After marrying Kenneth in 1952, they resided in Lowville,NY for a few years before settling in Ellington. Lois was a dedicated, hard-working homemaker, enjoying gardening, especially blueberries, raspberries and grapes. She and Kenneth used their garden harvests for canning and freezing and sharing with so many others. She also provided all visitors to her home with exceptional meals.
She is survived by her daughter Jane Schulz of Bloomfield, her sons; David Schulz of Northborough, Ma and Alan Schulz of Vernon; her brother, Roy Schneider and his wife Joyce of Ellington and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Kenneth in 2011 and a brother Elmer Schneider.

Relatives and friends may join the family on Sunday, February 28, 2016 from 3:30 – 6 pm at the Apostolic Christian Church, 34 Middle Butcher rd, Ellington. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 29, 2016 at 10:30 am at the Apostolic Christian Church. Burial will follow at Ellington Center Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to Longview Village or The Apostolic Christian Church, 34 Middle Butcher Rd, Ellington, CT 06029.
