
Wanda Kulis Parent, 53, of Ellington, beloved wife of Henry Parent, died peacefully on Nov 7, 2015 after a brief illness.
She was the youngest daughter of Edward and Veronica (Cichon) Kulis of South Windsor, and had lived in South Windsor before moving to Ellington. Wanda was a Paraprofessional with the Ellington School System for many years. She was a hardworking, caring and devoted wife, mother, sister and caretaker who will be greatly missed. Wanda enjoyed long road trips and spending time outdoors.
Along with Henry, her husband, she leaves her two children, Jeffrey Parent and Douglas Parent, her sister Arlene Hornat and her husband, John of South Windsor, her brothers Stanley Forostoski and George Forostoski both of Manchester; a brother in law, Dave White of Ellington; and numerous nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her father, her sister, Jeannette White, and her brother Vincent Forostoski.

Wanda’s family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 11, 2015, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home, 419 Buckland Rd., South Windsor. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2015, 10 a.m., at St. Luke Church, 141 Maple St., Ellington. Burial will follow at Ellington Center Cemetery.
