Ellington Resident Buys Big Winning Lottery Ticket At Local Store

The winning ticket was worth more than $15,000 to the lucky buyer.

ELLINGTON, CT — A recent stop at a local supermarket resulted in a considerable profit for an Ellington resident, who cashed in big on a CT Lottery daily number ticket.

Ilias Skyriotis bought a Play4 Night ticket at the Big Y World Class Market on Route 83, which wound up being worth $15,832. The winnings were collected Wednesday, according to lottery officials.

The CT Lottery posts winners of $10,000 or more as public record.
