Ellington Restaurant Opening Soon, Hiring Now

Full-time workers will be eligible for benefits including health insurance and a 401(k).

ELLINGTON, CT — The new Jersey Mike’s location coming to Ellington will hold open interviews next week as it continues preparing to open.

Representatives from Four Shore Subs, the group opening the restaurant, said the business is beginning the hiring process for a variety of positions at the new location.

Open interviews will be held Friday, June 5, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturday, June 6, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; and Monday, June 8, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The restaurant is planned for 135 West Road. Tom Dumansky, one of the owners involved with the project, said the business is continuing preparations for opening.

The new Jersey Mike’s was previously expected to open in May, but an updated opening date was not immediately provided in the latest hiring announcement.
