Ellington Seeks Nominees for Boards and Commissions
Appointments will be considered at the Nov. 16 Board of Selectmen meeting.

At the Oct. 19, 2015 Ellington Board of Selectmen meeting, the following appointments/reappointments were made:
- SENIOR CENTER ENDOWMENT FUND COMMITTEE: Reappointed June Lyons to a three-year term ending October 31, 2018.
- AD HOC PATRIOTIC COMMITTEE: Appointed Daniel Joy and Peter Hany, Jr. to complete unexpired terms ending December 31, 2015.
VACANCIES: Appointments will be considered at the Nov. 16, 2015 meeting of the Board of Selectmen. Vacancies exist on the following boards/commissions/committees noted below.
- Ad Hoc Patriotic Committee
- Ad Hoc Committee for the Preservation of the Pinney House
- Board of Assessment Appeals Alternate
- Ad Hoc Planning Committee for the Pinney Street Town-owned Property
- Building Code Board of Appeals
- Community Voice Channel Board of Directors
- Connecticut Water Company Customer Advisory Council
- Conservation Commission
- Ethics Commission
- Inland/Wetlands Agency Alternate
- Parks and Recreation Commission
- Vernon Area Cable TV Advisory Council
