Ellington Seeks Nominees for Boards and Commissions

At the Oct. 19, 2015 Ellington Board of Selectmen meeting, the following appointments/reappointments were made:

• SENIOR CENTER ENDOWMENT FUND COMMITTEE: Reappointed June Lyons to a three-year term ending October 31, 2018.
• AD HOC PATRIOTIC COMMITTEE: Appointed Daniel Joy and Peter Hany, Jr. to complete unexpired terms ending December 31, 2015.

VACANCIES: Appointments will be considered at the Nov. 16, 2015 meeting of the Board of Selectmen. Vacancies exist on the following boards/commissions/committees noted below.

• Ad Hoc Patriotic Committee
• Ad Hoc Committee for the Preservation of the Pinney House
• Board of Assessment Appeals Alternate
• Ad Hoc Planning Committee for the Pinney Street Town-owned Property
• Building Code Board of Appeals
• Community Voice Channel Board of Directors
• Connecticut Water Company Customer Advisory Council
• Conservation Commission
• Ethics Commission
• Inland/Wetlands Agency Alternate
• Parks and Recreation Commission
• Vernon Area Cable TV Advisory Council
