Ellington and Somers Arrests Include Breach of Peace, Larceny

May 25

On May 25 just after midnight, state troopers dispatched to 24 Hall Hill Rd. in Somers for the report of a disturbance. Three Enfield men were placed under arrest and transported to Troop C in Tolland where they were each processed. Dylan Choma, 20, of 29 Brook Rd., Adam Cormier, 21, of 15 Louise Dr., and Sean Meyer, 20, of 12 Till St. were all charged with second-degree breach of peace and interfering with a police officer. They were released on $2,000 non-surety bonds.

May 28

State police responded to 12 West Rd., Apt. B in Ellington at the request of the Manchester Police Department to check on the welfare of a female who called 911 and stated that she was involved in a domestic violence incident earlier in Manchester. Subsequent investigation revelaed that the incident actually occurred in Ellington. Anne J. Canfijn, 29, of 41 Packard St. in Manchester, admitted that she initiated a physical altercation by pushing the victim and was placed under arrest. She was charged with interfering with an officer and disorderly conduct.

May 31

At an uknown time between 8 p.m. on Friday, May 29 and 8 p.m. on Sunday, May 31, a 2015 Kia Sol, color brown, was stolen from 156 Main St. in Somers. The vehicle was left unlocked in the lot with the keys located in the console. The vehicle has no unique identifiers other than a rental company barcode on a side rear window. The vehicle was last bearing Massachusetts registration 2BD413. Anyone with information regarding the location of the vehicle is encouraged to contact the state police.

June 3

Scott Chase Kepner was summoned to appear at Rockville Superior Court on an active arrest warrant for third-degree larceny for an incident on Olde Farm Road in Ellington. Kepner, 32, of 7 Azalea Ct. in Broad Brook, was already incarcerated at Hartford Correctional Center.
