Ellington and Somers Election 2015 Results: Voting Begins

Candidates for office in Ellington and Somers were up and about before sunrise Tuesday, as balloting began at 6 a.m. for the biennial municipal elections.

A morning sweep of the towns’ polling places indicated voter turnout was “steady” through the early hours.

Ellington residents vote at the high school, while Somers citizens cast their ballots at Town Hall.

Polls will remain open until 8 p.m.
