Ellington, Somers Spring Sports: Past Titles, 2019 Schedules
A look at the state championship history in spring sports for Ellington and Somers high school teams, as well as 2019 spring schedules.
ELLINGTON-SOMERS, CT — The winter sports season is now behind us, spring has officially arrived and practices and scrimmages are now underway for all seven CIAC-sanctioned spring sports in Connecticut. With the coming of the new season comes the hope for success, with the ultimate goal being winning a state championship.
Teams from Ellington and Somers high schools have experienced a good deal of success during the spring campaign, combining for 15 state championships dating back to 1971. Here are the state titles won by Bulldog and Panther teams in the past, as well as a link to this spring's schedule of varsity contests.
